I would like to ask you to pray for me. I have Ocd and bipolar disorder and they are becoming worse.
I cannot hold a job; in the last five years I have had over 15 different jobs, and attempted suicide; I have no income at all right now and am greatly struggling.
My disorders have become so bad im afriad to leave the house or be around anyone other than my family members. I have applied for social security and im worried I will be denied, so I am asking you to pray that i win my social security case.
My family wants me out, and are unsupportive. I have already moved form house to house between family members I can’t live with no income much longer, as I soon will be homeless.
The only one to get me out of this mess is god. So, please help me and pray for me.
As we move through this life, it easy to become jaded and harsh. May God grant us the strength to live as he would have us, as children of God, and shepherds of love.

Heavenly Father, I pray that you soften my wifes heart and change her mind on giving up on our marriage. We had a wonderful marriage with five wonderful children between us. In what seemed like an instant her heart turned against me. I have searched for a reason only to be told reasons that she has to know are untrue.
I have my own faults but I also tried to be the best husband I knew how to be and have never stopped trying to improve. She has told me to accept that she is done and its over but I cannot. Every attempt to try and change her mind has only made matters worse. I truly feel like my hands are tied.

In Jesus name we pray that Kent is released from the Prison. That he is found innocent of any crime. That his father David tells the truth and that David’s mental illness and drug abuse causing his violent actions towards his son Kent is found as the criminal. Kent only defended himself and saved himself from being killed. My relationship started off with the Lord encouraging both of us to stick together through thick and thin. Along the way, I found myself battling a situation which meant my partner and I couldn’t meet as often as we would’ve loved. It started causing resentment between us, but I managed to stand firm on what the Lord had told me.
My partner on the other hand, began to change. He began blaming all our problems on my situation and avoiding me, though he still stayed in the relationship. This affected me and made me point fingers back, but even through it all, I still know that God cannot encourage something and then end it abruptly.
I’ve made mistakes and cannot absolve myself from anything, but my heart has not changed and God isn’t giving me rest over him. Please pray for us, that the Lord will soften his heart towards me, as a heart hardened towards something the Lord has provided is hardened towards the Lord. I care about me, but more for him. He is operating in flesh and not spirit.

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back, at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
“LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you’d walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don’t understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.”

“My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you,

when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”

Our research has turned up a powerful Letter of Protection dating from 1724 which was said to safeguard the wearer from injury when worn in a pocket. This letter was reportedly discovered in Europe in 1724, written in gold lettering. It disappeared for several years but then resurfaced in 1791. It was later worn by military troops from Pennsylvania during World War I.

Dear Lord, You are my rock and my inspiration. I pray that You help me with the diet I am having right now. I pray that You give me the strength to accomplish the weight I am aiming for. Help me, Lord to stay strong and keep away from the food that is not good for my body.
You have said that our body is a temple and that we should take care of it. Help me to keep it that way, Lord. Teach me the desire to only choose the food that is good for me and my body. Bless me with the enthusiasm to exercise each morning so I may strengthen my mind, body and soul.
I pray that You give me the energy to do things I need to do today, for me and my family. Thank you for listening to my prayer, Lord. Amen.
Prayer to Lose Weight
Dearest God, thank You for giving me this life to live. Today, I come to You in prayer to ask for help. You have given me this body to take care of and unfortunately, I have failed to do so.
Help me to have the discipline to choose the right kind of food that nourishes the body and have the strength to do my workouts each day. Help me stay focused, Lord, that I may be able to take care of my body as this is Your temple.
Teach me to take care of this wonderful gift You, Father, have given me. Give me the grace to become more patient as I believe that all good things come to those who wait. May my health be better and may I continue to push on forward with this endeavour of losing weight. When I achieve my goal, Lord, help me maintain it and make healthier choices always.

Prayer for the Body
Gracious heavenly Father, You have said in Your word that if anyone lacks wisdom, all they need is ask and You will give them wisdom liberally and without reproach (James 1:5). I come to You in the name of Jesus asking for wisdom to take care of myself so that I may glorify You in my body and my spirit (1 Corinthians 6:20).
Give me the desire to choose foods that bring energy and vitality to my body and clarity to my mind. Give me enthusiasm to exercise so that I may strengthen my body and have the energy to do the things I need to do. Most of all, Lord, give me wisdom to put You first in my life because You have said that if I seek first Your kingdom and all its righteousness, my needs will be taken care of.

Heavenly Father, You are the Giver of life and Provider of all things good. You have blessed me with a great life and people who love me ever so dearly. However, Father, there is one gift that I have neglected and it is my body. Now, I want to make some changes in my lifestyle and You, Father, are the only one who can help me with this. God, I pray that you save our marriage. My husband, J, has left our marriage. His family does not want me in my husbands life and have influenced him to leave me. The friction caused by his family was too much for my husband and he grew tired. I pray the Divine Master will give my husband the strength to return to me and save our marriage. Oh God, we come before you with a request for healing for our beloved grandma. We know that it is within Your power to make her well again, but we also know that to everything there is a season, and sometimes we must simply trust You.

I Am Grateful For God

There is a lot of advice out there about how to pray, but there is not a right or a wrong way when it comes to how to communicate with God.
That said, when starting out, you may be in need of a guideline, a template of sorts, to help form your prayers until you become comfortable praying without it.
In the Bible, Jesus mentions a couple things that should not be done when praying.
“Do not always pray openly for others to see and hear.”
[Matthew 6:5-6]
“Do not pray using repetitive prayers. ”
[Matthew 6:5-6]
After admonishing his disciples not to pray for show and not to use rote prayers, Jesus gave a beautiful example of a prayer, and said that this is how His followers should pray.
Before beginning His prayer, Jesus said, After this manner therefore pray ye:.
Learn How To Pray With The Lord’s Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer is the prayer that Jesus wants us to use as an example of a good prayer.
Lets go over each line and examine the structure and meaning of this prayer.
“Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. ”
[Matthew 6:9]
Before launching into to what you need or the purpose of your prayer, start with praise to the Lord. Begin your prayer with worship and by exalting the name of the Lord.
“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
[Matthew 6:10]
Remember that when you pray, you are not making demands of God. Christians should always want Gods will above their own. Include this in your prayer by asking that Gods will be done.
“Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”
[Matthew 6:11-12]
After you have worshiped and exalted the Lord and asked that His will be done, it is time to ask for any needs that you might have.
This could be healing for yourself or others, the strength to deal with difficult people, help with financial needs, the need to be forgiven for sin or anything else.
“Whatever needs you have, the Bible says that you should make your requests known unto God”
[Phillipians 4:6]
There is nothing wrong with asking God for help in meeting your needs; in fact you just saw that the Bible tells you to do just that.
What Christians must be careful of, however, is coming to God with a laundry list of requests without taking the time to offer praise and worship. That is why following the basic template of the Lords Prayer is helpful.
“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: ”
[Matthew 6:13]
With temptation all around, it is a good idea to include a request for help in avoiding it. When you ask God for help in avoiding temptation you are acknowledging that the strength to live a dedicated and holy life does not come from you, but from Gods grace.
When you ask God to deliver you from evil, He can put a hedge about your life and help to protect you from the influences that could cause you to fall into sin.
“For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
[Matthew 6:13]
Finally, you should end your prayers the same way that you began: with praise and worship to God.
Be mindful that you are not following The Lords Prayer word for word. Instead, use it as a guide to pray the prayers that are on your own heart. When you pray in the same manner that Jesus prayed, you words will find their way to the heart of the Lord.

What should we take away from this?
I believe there is not “right” time to pray. But, it is a good idea to pray every day, and this becomes easier if you choose a time and stick to it every day.
I pray in the morning in order to prepare myself for the day, and to help keep me on the right path throughout the day.
Praying in the evening is better for reflecting on the day’s events. If you can do both, great!
