My Dear heavenly father.

You are the God and creator of the universe. You are wonderful, powerful, righteous, faithful, caring, understanding and all good beyond my understanding. You created me, you have taken care of me, right from the time i was in my mothers womb. You have been with me through the joyful and painful times in my life. I beg for you to forgive me of all my sins. Build me, and teach me to stay in your will, so i may not sin against you. I love you so so so much Lord God, and i’m grateful that you sent your son, my Lord, teacher, and friend Jesus Christ who died for my sins so i may be free. Lord, only in you i trust. You are my only hope in life. You are the source of my strenght, for without you, i don’t know what i would do. You controle every single second in my life and you have the power to do and undo as you please. So my GOD, I pour my heart out to you, this beautiful day today, which you created, i cry out to you to work a miracle in my life so i may obtain my greencard tomorow. My eyes are teary as i write and plead for your help father, for i am really tired of this heavy burden i bear. please, take this load off of me, so i may be a blessing to others, and be a witness of your glory, faithfulness, and might. Thank you for the opportunity to be able to write to you this letter. Amen.

Prayer for couples preparation for wedding and financial help

Dear Lord, I am praying to you to help me in preparing for our wedding. My husband and I are having problems in our finances and I worry that I may not plan and budget our wedding well. My husband does not approve of all my suggestions and I’m having a hard time looking for possible cheap suppliers.

I really don’t know what to do now. I always tell him that if he’s not ready to shell out some money for our wedding, it’s just fine with me. We might as well cancel our wedding plans. But he would always say that he wants to push through with it. I am not longing for a grand wedding. I just want a simple and memorable one but getting married here is really costly. We’ve been together for 15years and I even never thought that he’ll have plans of marrying me.

Though it will be my privilege to receive our Lord’s blessing in the sacrament of marriage. Please help me Lord. Please bring to me to people who are going to be a big help for this wedding. If this will push through, I hope everything will turn out fine and beautiful. I leave it all up to you my Lord.

Please bless and enlighten my husband on this preparation. Thank you.

Prayer of forgiveness from my spouse

Father,

I ask that you would help find forgiveness for my husband for the lies that I told him. I did not mean to hurt his heart and I ask for your forgivness. I ask you Lord that you would turn my husband back toward me, that he would see his commitment and vows that we stood before you and took with our whole hearts. He is a good man and I ask that you would touch his heart so that he can again see the good in me, as we once were and help him to understand that I was scared when I lied because I was afraid of losing him. I pray you would touch him in such a way that he his anger would banish and the love would once again surface, not only for me but for the children. I have asked for your forgivenss of my sins and I pray Lord, that he would realize that forgiveness is the answer.

I pray that he could once again see the wonderful, beautiful unity that you brought together and how much I love him. Please bless us so that he does not leave our family. Bring forgiveness and your Holy Spirit to him as only you can. I know it’s in your time God, but I don’t have much time before he leaves, so I pray to you that you would reach out and touch is heart today.

prayer for our daughter who is in an unhealthy relationship.

Please pray for our 18 yr. old daughter who is in a relationship with a 17yr. old who belittles her, judges the way she dresses, wants to control where she works, and who her friends are, and disrespects her parents by refusing to talk to us and not wanting to even set foot on our property, he tells her to stand up to her parents and demand her rights as an 18 yr. old.

(he doesn’t like our rules and curfews). And now is even threatening to break-up with her if she doesn’t do what he asks of her, he manipulates her and is causing her a lot of distress and fear, he has caused our happy God filled home to become a home of anger, frustration and much disarray, we pray and pray for us to get back the joy and love that we used to feel in our home and in our family of 3, but we need outside prayer as we feel like she is not listening to us and our prayers need more power.

Our daughter just does not see what this young man is doing to her, so please help us pray that she sees this relationship as not being one that God has sent to her(thats what she thinks). Thank-you and God Bless!

Answered Prayers in the Bible

There are many accounts of answered prayers in the bible. The fact is that God has always been in the business of answering prayers.

It is not uncommon for Christians ” even Christians with a long walk with God ” to feel doubt when praying.

No matter how many times God has come through for you in the past, it still seems doubtful that the Creator of the Universe would take the time to hear and answer your prayers.

Lets go over some stories of answered prayers in the bible.

Hannah Prays for a Baby

I Samuel, chapters 1 and 2

Hannah desperately wanted a child. In those days,
a woman could not go to the doctor to learn the reason for her infertility.

Instead, being unable to have a baby was considered a shame and a curse.
Hannah cried out to God in such a raw, emotional way that the priest who
heard her prayers actually thought that she was drunk. But she wasnt.

She was desperate, and she knew that the only one with the power to give
her the desire of her heart was the Lord.

God heard Hannah and her prayer touched the Lord so much that He was moved
to give her a child. As promised, Hannah gave her child back to the Lord and
Samuel grew up to become a great prophet.

Elijah Prays for God to Prove His Power

I Kings 18:20-40

Elijah was frustrated with those who worshipped Baal, and wanted very much
for the one true God to prove His power in front of the followers of Baal.

After those followers tried unsuccessfully to call down fire from their god,
Elijah prayed a very simple prayer. He asked that God would send down fire
and consume the altar.

God answered that prayer in a powerful way and all of the followers of Baal
who were present had no choice but to confess the power of the Lord.

David Prays for Forgiveness

Psalms 51

One prayer that every Christian will pray at one time or another is
the prayer for forgiveness. This is also the type of prayer that can be very difficult
to believe that God will answer.

When you sin, it is easy to feel far from God, but looking to the example
of David can be a wonderful reminder about the power of Gods forgiveness.

David had committed adultery and then had a man killed in an attempt to
cover his sin. When he fully realized what he had done, he became broken before God,
and one of the most heartfelt prayers in the Bible, Psalms 51, was written.

God did forgive David for his sins, and David went on to live for God for
the rest of his days and remained, as the Bible called him, a man after Gods own heart.

Does God Always Answer Prayers?

While the above are good examples of God answering prayers in the bible,
it is important to remember that sometimes God says no.

This doesnt mean that he hasnt answered. It just means that He sees the
big picture and knows what is best for you in the long run.

God has always loved His people. Also, keep a journal about the prayers that
He has answered for you. All of this will work together to increase your faith
and make you even more pleasing in the eyes of the Lord.

Dear Lord,

I thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon me. I thank you for my family and friends both near and far who have supported me through my life challenges. I come to you today to ask for your grace to renew my relationship with Ty. I miss him dearly. I miss his laugh, smile, kindness, and love.

I ask that you come into his heart and heal the pain I caused him because of my addiction. I ask that you bring about forgiveness and peace within him for only you, God, knows what truly lies in Ty’s heart. Dear Lord, our Heavenly Father,

I come before You to give You Honor, Praise and Thanks. Dear God : please give me peace of mind and heart, discipline and organization skills in my life. Please help me be the best mother and best person I can be. Rid my heart of all feelings of envy and of resentment.

Help me reach my goals and dreams. Help me stop loosing sleep over things I can’t control and over people that have offended me I thank you Lord because you are already helping me and so many wonderful things are happening to me: but I have so much trauma from my abusive childhood and from the abusive relationship i still have to deal with, that I feel overwhelmed, sad, angry, frustrated, many times envious and since I was a child I have feel like I’m not worthy.

Lord also please help me become an organize and discipline person; I know that 50% of my stress will go away if i can accomplish to learn those two very important life skills.

O God, merciful Father. You know all things, You know that I am in urgent need of money to pay overdue bills and outstanding rent. Times are hard. Business is tough. I am short of cash. I don’t know what to do, whom I can turn to. I am at a dead end.

I have only You, merciful Father. I know that You hear me. I know that You love me. I trust in You. I humbly and urgently ask in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ that You grant me the miracle of a financial breakthrough. I know that I have not always been faithful to You. I have often sinned. Please forgive me for my shortcomings.

My dire financial situation has been going on for far too long now. It’s affecting my health, my emotional and mental well-being. I can’t sleep at night. I am often depressed because of the situation. I find it difficult to focus on others and serve Your children as I should because my mind is always occupied by the financial obligations which I constantly struggle to fulfill.

Please in the name of Jesus please protect my business, it comes with such difficult trials and ups and downs. I want to protect it from others who want to tear it down or want to destroy me or my business. Prayer for my son to get the job he is interviewing for today…

God, I know I don’t pray or thank you as often as I should for all of the blessings that you have brought into my life, but I am truly grateful for them and know that you are behind the wonderful life I am here to live. I only ask that you please be with my son today as he interviews for this job of his dreams, a career he has wanted to pursue since he was a child, a firefighter to do good for others and be the giving, caring and loving man that my family and I have raised him to be.

He wants this career more than anything and I ask that you, dear Lord, be with him today to find success in this interview and be hired by this Fire Department to begin his career, to fulfill his childhood dream…I will be eternally grateful for your spirit being there with him and giving him the confidence, knowledge and strength to be the young man that they are looking for to become one of their firefighters now, in this round of recruits.

Thank you for giving me such an incredible gift in my wonderful son, and I want his dream to come true and he be hired as a fulltime firefighter with this department he is interviewing for today. Thank you dear Lord for listening and for going in spirit and strength with my son today, and everyday.

Prayer to get a good job with excellent pay abroad

Dear Lord and Mama Mary, I’ve been working for years in my own country with minimal salary and benifits. I’ve tried to share my earnings to my father and my sisters family and I’m longing to have sufficient and enough not only for my immediate family members but to them as well (My father and sisters’ family and other relatives and friends in need) whom I care.

From my profession, I am looking forward seeing myself having a foundation to help the needy relatives and friends. And this is only possible when I get a good job with excellent pay abroad.

Dear Lord and Mama Mary, I pray that you will guide me always right from the start of the application process. Having sufficient fund of course to cover all the expenses, from getting the required documents from the schools, from PRC, easy acceptance during submission, passing the IELTS right away, approval from APHRA, going through the bridging program, passing and qualifying the requirements, enrolment in their regulatory board, be granted with an immigrant visa the easiest way as possible, getting a good job with excellent pay and will be able to bring the whole family abroad. We can settle there. My husband can find a good job as well with good salary and my daughter will be good in school.

These things, I pray to you Lord and Mama Mary. And I believe with these that I will be able to support not just my own family but to others as well.

This I ask through Jesus Christ and Mama Mary, Amen.

A Prayer for Healing for My Grandfather

Dear God, I come before and humble my self in prayer. Father in heaven I am your child but come to you on my Granfathers behalf, for a healing and miracle. I love him so much and I need and want him to live longer. He is 90 years old but he fell and broke his hip bone and we as his family cannot afford his surgery because it is too expensive and will cost us about 800$.

Father in heaven we can’t afford it but I know that you already know his situation and I also believe in you God, I believe that you are the king of kings and lord of lords.

You are the master of all situations and with you nothing is impossible.

You made this world and made each of us and only you can heal him and take away the pain he is in right now. I believe that your son Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and that whatever we/I ask in his name, I shall receive- therefore Father in heaven, MIGHTY GOD, I ask IN THE NAME OF JESUS that my grandfather be healed of the BROKEN HIP, may he receive a miracle IN THE NAME OF JESUS, BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND BY THE GRACE OF GOD.

Be merciful to my grandfather and forgive him for his sins because I know he loves you so much and believes in JESUS CHRIST YOUR SON.

I BIND any kind of evil whatsoever that comes in my Grandfathers way and invite the heavenly angels to protect him jealously and create hedge of protection around him IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

Thank you God for your mercy, thank you for your love, hope and tenderness. I love you God, my grand father is nothing without you, help him father in THE NAME OF JESUS.

Prayer for the Jobless

Heavenly father, We adore and glorify Your name for all the blessings and talents we recieved from you. Because of it, we were able to express our deep devotion to you through our hardwork and diligence. We are very thankful for all the work and opportunities you provided us in the past that allowed us to grow and experience honor and personal fulfillment.

We still thank you Lord for the time that we are unemployed. We know that you use this time to communicate with us, to realize what we need to improve, and to correct us our wrong doings. We know that during this time of no work, you wants us to rest so that when the time comes, we are in perfect condition to excel and hail you once again.

Oh my Lord, as we wait for that right time, may we not exhaust our faith. Please Forgive us Lord for being impatient and lack of trust in you cause by the frustrations of being unfruitful and rejections. May we not feel pressured by our financial obligations for we know you provide your graces abundantly. Teach us to be humble in this time of crisis and patience for the glorious opportunities ahead.

Let us not forget my Lord those people who really in need of the job as soon as possible for other people rely on them such as the sick and those parents raising their children. May they/we find job easily and may we find the job that best matches our qualification, a job that is decent, away from opression.

We will always look ahead on that day of productivity, and fulfillment that in no time, you will provide us opportunity and work that will support our living as you always do to us. In this we claim in the name of Jesus your son, our provider, our saviour specially at times of needs.

Prayer for my loving Aunt

Lord i come before you today and ask you to please help my dear aunt overcome the trials she is currently facing. She has a servants heart and soul and has always done for others And she has come to a time in her life where she is in a deep depression feeling worthless hopeless and alone.

She needs her famiys love and they are failing to give it to her i pray that you will remind her that no matter what shes going through she is never alone because she has you and you will never forsake her nor leave her. You will love her no matter what. Sometimes its hard to remember that when in such a dark and lonely place. I am asking you to allow her to feel your love stronger than ever before. Strengthen her faith and please give her some peace of mind and comfort knowing that you have a plan for her life. That she will overcome this. Help her seek you when life is feeling hopeless and worthless. Help her to see all the good she has done for others. Please lord remind her that all things are possible through you and if she can just believe that and have faith in that even if thats the only thing she is capable of doing that it will save her life. Lord i know in my heart that you are hearing my prayer and working feverently to answer it. I thank you for the blessing of my aunt. she has played a huge role in my life one she didnt have to play. I love her dearly.

I ask this one last thing lord and that is to put a hedge of protection over her ..from the top of her head to the soles of her feet lord. Protect her from satan as he is trying with all his might to destroy her. I ask all this in the might name of jesus. Amen

What do we learn from these short bible verses?

These Bible verses say a lot with the shortest verse in the Bible telling us simply that Jesus wept. We see his sincere compassion for others in his tears over the coming destruction of Jerusalem.

I would like to ask you to pray for me to know if my ex-boyfriend is the right one for me. We broke up because of my selfish reasons, and I am really very devastated ever since. We have to meet up because we have to dissolve our mobile phone lines and other accounts. But I cannot seem to face him. I am scared to see him. I feel like I will dodge a bullet if I see the one person who I wanted to make things right with be with the new love of his life.

This has prolonged the processing of the papers. Please help me. Please pray for me. I really am feeling confused. I honestly cannot put into words what I want to really ask you to pray for.
