Prayers for a positive outcome from background check

Dear God,

You know my every need even before I do. You have seen my struggles and have always been faithful. I ask for your grace, peace and mercy as the company that is offering a job to me does my background check. I know that I do not have any criminal records, but I have not been a good steward with your financial blessings, Lord.

Forgive me for my transgressions with your blessings and allow for this job to go through with no problems. I rebuke the enemy and all his whispering in my ear that I do not deserve all the goodness that you promise.

I pray the blood of Jesus over my situation and I have faith that you will place me where I need to be in my life. I thank you in advanced for your blessings and your mercy.

I also ask for favor for my brothers and sisters out there that are going through similar situations. I thank you for loving me, God and for always being faithful.

Prayer to Control Eating Habits

Lord I need your will power to resist the desires I have for unhealthy eating habits. Lord I ask that you replace those desires with the will to live and eat healthy. Please help me not use food as a comfort.

I pray that I find comfort in you when I am tempted to indulge in things I shouldn’t eat. I want to lose weight so I can be healthy mentally, physically and spiritually. I know I can do it with you in control. I release myself to you. Amen

Strayed lover/broken relationship

I come to you as humble as I know how. I’ve lit a prayer candle to you in home so you know the specifics of my needs. I pray that you rid the enemies that are hindering the reconciliation of the relationship between myself and him and reverse this negative situation around. Its been two years too long after almost a 7 year relationship. I know deep down we are meant to be together forever and start a family. Unfortunately he has strayed and is overcome with negative things, habits and people. You know them exactly. I pray that he rids of those things and people immediately and forever. I pray that you give him strength to let go of his pride and acknowledge that he still loves me, is still in love with me and comes to terms that we are meant to be and we can fix this with time and help. He is the only one for me and I am the only one for him. Please do not allow any relationships with any females and him to manifest mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and any other way shape or form. I pray that he stops being so negative towards me especially ignoring me reaching out to him. I pray he knows how much he misses me and us and admits it. I pray he knows how much I love and am in love with him. I pray he knows the words and letters I’ve tried to get through to him are ginuwine and sincere. I pray that he can forgive my flaws and his as I can do the same. I pray that he only has eyes and feelings for me as he once did before. I pray that he will contact me before this weekend is over as I have not heard from him in over a week even after reaching out to him. I pray that he is resentful and remorseful of his actions towards me. I pray that he knows I forgive him and want to get past this together as I fear him thinking otherwise is why he won’t contact me. I pray that you will give me the strength to not give up faith and hope on this situation as sometimes negative thoughts and emotions cross my mind when I feel its over forever. I pray it isn’t over forever. I pray that none of my negative thoughts and feelings manifest themselves. I pray that he does not love or is not in love with another female. I pray that nothing is serious when it comes to the other females. I pray that my prayers are answered before the candle burning in my home is finished. Please Saint Expedite! I also pray for any other family and friends in need of your help especially both of my brothers (you know which ones I speak of) and the relationship issues they are facing. I pray for a sign that my prayers are going to be answered. Once my prayers are granted I will forever be in debt to you. I will forever be grateful and praise your name and power. I pray that whose ever prayers you have and will continue to answer will also be as or more grateful. I pray that you get through to him and listen to my heart. I thank you so much in advance Jesus. I also pray that any and everyone who prays for my prayer as I also pray that the prayers of any and everyone else are answered quickly. Amen!

Heavenly Father, I come humbly to you, claiming a blessing upon my mother. Lord open up doors of new employment for her. A job she will enjoy and not be stressed. Mary, the Untier of Knots

Mary the Untier of Knots, also called Mary the Undoer of Knots is a Baroque image by Johann George Melchior Schmidtner, which dates from around 1700.

It may be seen in the Catholic pilgrimage church of “St. Peter am Perlach”, otherwise Perlach church, in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany.

The image shows the Virgin Mary untying knots while stepping on the head of a snake, symbolizing the Devil and also the prophecy in Genesis 3.15 “Thy seed shall bruise the serpent’s head.” As we know, the fruit of Mary’s seed is the savior Jesus Christ, who “bruises” and refutes the Devil with his holy teachings.

Prayer for My Parents to Accept My Boyfriend

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for allowing me to have a safe day today. I thank you for introducing Your child into my life. I humbly come before You today as I would like to pray for my parents to accept my boyfriend. My boyfriend’s immune system is not that strong. When he was 10, he experienced depression and that cause his growth rate to slow. He could have reached 172cm.Compared to others, he is not very tall. In fact, he is 160cm, as as me.

When my mum saw him, she told me this is not possible because she will prefer my boyfriend to be tall and gives off a secure feeling. Lord, when he entered my life about a year ago, it was amazing. I found someone who I can talk to , someone who appreciates me for who I am. We started dating about half a year ago.

During this period, he is the best thing that has happened to me. Father, I went through one relationship where my ex was violent towards me. It took me a while to recover and I do see why he wanted to break. It was because it wouldnt do us good for sticking together. Although I did not know You back then, I thank You for seeing me through those hard times.

The breakup was hard, the tears were real. Still Father, I see the reason for that separation. And I thank You for that. But for this time, I hope You can help me and my boyfriend to tide through the obstacles ahead of us. It wont be easy but I believe with You, everything will turn out fine.
In fact, Im not from a Christian family but through him, I got to know You. I got to know Your goodness, Your love that is so unconditional. I got to know of Faith. Through him,

I see life differently. I thank Father for bringing him to my life. Pardon my greediness, but if You can, please give us some miracle. Allow him to have the strength to go through the obstacles laid for us. Allow me to never lose faith in Your goodness, in Your plans. Father, if we are meant to be, please make all things possible for us. I pray that he can grow taller, stronger.

I know it could be impossible. But I believe that, with God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit, please guide us through. Please give us the strength to walk through this journey. With Your grace and mercy, make things possible for us. Lord, i know there will be tough days. But I truly hope the ending would be a beautiful one.

And we will further need Your strength and mercy during the tougher times. We will be working on this too, to allow my parents to look beyond the physical but to the personality that shines within him. But with that, we will need Your grace and Your mercy to support us.
I thank Father once again to allow me to meet such a great boyfriend. But if You can do more, I pray for a great ending. Lord, I really do. In Jesus Name, I pray. AMEN.

Prayer for Return of Money

Oh Dear Lord, please help me and my family. We are in terrible financial straits, I need your help with my finances. Please restore my money to what is was and please let my business venture with my friend get back on track and be profitable once again.

God, I thank you for answering my prayers by introducing Etienne into my life and heart. I thank you for blessing me with somebody as special as he, by allowing us to be friends for so long before growing into a relationship. Thank you God, I thank you with my entire heart and soul.

I’m your humble servant but i’m exhausted,weary and I feel burn out and confused.I’m scared father I don’t know how else to help the families I work with I see so much so sorrow, pain and hardship. Prayer for my brother and wife

Lord in heaven, I thank you and praise you for your perfect will and all our blessings. I worship your greatness in the trials we face. I ask in Faith that you would bless My brother and his wife with a baby of their own soon Lord. You know the hurdles medically and financially that appear to stand in their way but by you nothing is impossible.

As your word tells me, “I believe, help my unbelief”. Grant haste to the answers of all those who pray in faith for a child Lord. That you would put the right plans in place and remove all obstacles. In your will Oh Lord, create fertile wombs and fathers, and loving safe homes for the children many dream of. Correctly place each child of yours according to their needs.

The Rapture in The Bible

The rapture is a controversial topic among many Christians. Lets take a close look at what the bible say about the rapture, and answer some of the most common questions regarding end-times.

What is the Rapture?

The term ‘rapture’ has embedded itself in much of the modern Christian church due to the dramatization of the concept through literature and film, particularly through the popular Left Behind series.

The term is used to refer to a sudden taking away of Christian believers from the Earth.

Apparently, Christians will be ‘raptured’ just prior to seven years of ‘tribulation’ or years of extreme difficulty and suffering for those who remain living on the Earth. Non believers will be left behind to face the end times.

In this article, we will examine the Biblical basis for the concept of a the Rapture, as well as discuss the variations of beliefs regarding the circumstances which will surround that event.

What the Bible Says About the Rapture?

Many people are surprised to learn that rapture is not a Biblical term, but it is true. You will not find the word rapture in the Bible, particularly not in reference to the second coming of Christ or the removal of Christians from the Earth.

The term ‘rapture’ is ‘extra-Biblical,’ in a similar way that the terms ‘Trinity’ and ‘Triune God’ are also extra-Biblical. They are terms representative of concepts found within Bible passages, but which never had those exact terms applied to them by the writers.

The concept of the rapture is derived from the New Testament book of First Thessalonians and the fourth chapter, as shown in verses 15 through 17.

“For the Lord himself shall come down from heaven with commandment, and with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead who are in Christ, shall rise first. ” [1 Thessalonians 4:16]

It is quite obvious that the basic definition of the rapture is taken from these verses.

The Bible does clearly state that their will be a time when Christians still living on the Earth shall be ‘taken up.’ The debate between Christians on this tends to be in two areas:

One being whether this scripture is meant to be taken literally or figuratively. Secondly, and more commonly, the debate is more one of timing. Is the rapture something that takes place several years prior to Christ’s final coming or as an integral part of that singular event?

When Will The Rapture Happen?

As stated above, the debate on the event labeled as The Rapture centers primarily about when this event will occur in relation to the other prophesied events surrounding the Second Coming of Christ.

Although there are several minor variations, the two primary camps of thought on the subject are the ‘pre-tribulation’ and ‘post-tribulation’ proponents. To understand their viewpoints, we must first examine what the Bible has to say about this period commonly referred to as the Great Tribulation.

What the Bible Says About the Great Tribulation

The Biblical basis for what has been referred to as the Great Tribulation comes primarily from references in the Gospels:

“Immediately after the tribulation … then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man [Jesus] … and he shall gather his elect” [Matthew 24:29“31; Mark 13:24-27; Luke 21:25-27]

This declaration of a time of tribulation or trouble is then coupled with the series of devastating events described in the prophetic Book of Revelation which culminate in a thousand year reign of Christ on the Earth.

Pre or Post Tribulation Rapture?

The fact is that both sides of the debate can provide you with a trail of scripture references that back their reasoning for believing in a rapture event that occurs prior to or following this period of tribulation.

To fully demonstrate those arguments would take much more time and space than we’ve allotted for this article. However, we can address the ‘attitude’ which the Bible encourages us to have in regards to the events of the future, particularly those which my cause us anxiety or concern.

The Attitude of Those Who Trust in Christ

“…I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return.” [II Timothy 7: 12b NLT]
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” [John 16:33 KJV]

In conclusion, the Bible clearly teaches that Christ will again return to gather his followers to himself, that he will take them up or ‘rapture’ them from the current Earth.

When that will occur can be debated and where he will be taking them may be debated, however, if you trust in what the Bible says, as a follower of Christ you need not fear tribulation or death. We follow One whom we can trust and who desires and offers us peace, now and for future days and events, as well.
