I have been a widow for a little over eight years. I am a Christian however since the Lord took my husband home with him, I have been struggling with my walk. My children are grown and I do thank God for allowing my husband to live long enough to see them as young adults. I have five grandchildren now. He only lived to see the first one. I get lonely, and I’m drinking more, I never drank as much as I do now. I want to stop, but when I do it doesn’t last permanently. As a result I’m always worried about how God sees me. I worry about my grown children, I just feel anxious all the time. I want to live for God. With the pandemic and all the social issues I find myself constantly feeling unrest. Please pray for me.
