I’ve been married for just over five years to my wife. When we first met, she claimed that she was a believer but that God somehow took her faith away – something I still don’t believe even today. (She grew up in a Christian family – her father was a pastor and retired a few years ago – but rebelled against Christianity mainly because her parents pressured her and her brother to attend church on Sundays. Thankfully, her brother recently returned to faith but she still hasn’t.) Since we got married, I’ve tried sharing my faith journey with her and also cried about my faith experiences; both hoping that they would partly help her to change her heart, mind and soul. Unfortunately, NOTHING has worked; I’ve also been praying but that has also proven frustrating because God still hasn’t answered my prayers for her. Not sure if it’s because of my lack of faith, her hardened heart & other factors and/or anything else though. Prayer request – that God WILL DEFINITELY completely change my wife’s heart, mind and soul so that we can finally grow in faith in every way (e.g., praying, reading the Bible together) but also for her to grow in faith as God’s daughter.
