Dear Heavenly Father,
I wanted to start off this prayer by saying thank you for another day on this wonderfully made earth. Thank for a good day at work despite the awful pain in my foot again. I am so grateful that I was blessed bu you with a wonderful youth group to be at on tiesdags to worship for for 2 hours and become closer with the friends you have blessed me in my life. God there are many things right now that I need to talk to you in prayer tonight about and very serious things that I need miracles from you. First I want ti start off with my pain in my foot. God I have been struggling with this awful pain for years on and off and now it’s more consistent where I’m sick most of the day. God I just want to blessed with a doctor that I can go to to get answers and resolve this pain. God please I’m asking you to please give me a Miracle on getting some type of surgery or Being on crutches to help with the pain. I just want the doctors to give me the option of surgery so I can not be in pain again in my foots please god! Also god I wanted to come to you in prayer tonight for my relationship with my boyfriend as we are struggling quite a bit right now and it is rough for me and I just want to pray about it and let you hopefully listen and answer me. God of Unfailing Love, may we be filled with love for each other that reflects your love for us. Your love is patient, let us be patient with each other. Your love is kind, let us be kind to each other. Your love does not envy, let us not be envious of each other. Your love does not boast, may our relationship be built on humility. You love does not dishonor others, let us honor each other. Your love is not self-seeking, let us love each other with a selfless love. Help us to love each other well.
God of love and peace, even though we love each other deeply, we are still faced with differences of opinions. Help us to deal with conflict in a productive and loving way. Assist us to not be over-bearing or insisting that something should be done a certain way. Help us to be flexible and accommodating and respectful of the other person’s point of view. When we disagree, remind us to refrain from anger and ridicule. Help us effectively get to the root of the problem.
Heavenly Father, thank you that you are our creator, you know us better than anyone else. You brought us together and you have promised that you have plans and a purpose for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us. Remind us that you are the center of our relationship and that you are the one who watches over our future. May we look to you for wisdom and guidance. May your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, my Rock and Redeemer, thank you that you are the source of all true joy in life. May we enjoy the gift of physical intimacy that you have blessed us with. May we give and receive pleasure with an attitude of thankfulness to you. Your word says that you are a Good Father who gives us good gifts. Please help us to use this gift wisely to love and bless each other. To you, our God, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Lord God, our Builder of all things, we ask that you help us shape our conversations as we discuss the important parts of our relationship. Empower us to candidly share our past experiences, faults and frailties, opinions, spirituality, and our hopes and dreams. Help us to be real about who we are and expect our loved one to do the same. Guide us to explore the topics we need to explore with transparency and openness. May we be enriched through this process and grow deeper in intimate understanding of each other. Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that you can satisfy our every desire and need. You have said that if we delight ourselves in you, you will give us the desires of our hearts. Please help us to encourage each other to trust in you for every aspect of our lives and relationship. Help us to spur each other on in our faith. May we worship you together. You are the God of endurance and encouragement. Help us to live in harmony with each other, that together we may, with one voice, glorify Jesus Christ.
thank you that you are the light of the world, guiding our steps on your path. Please help us to communicate well. Give us the grace to listen to each other carefully and speak in love. Remove any bitterness and resentment from our mouths Lord, and may our words be words of kindness and gentleness. May our communication be the building block of a healthy relationship. Guide our words and our hearts Lord, in submission to you. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with us. God of truth, help us to effectively express our love for one another. Enable us to use words that really speak to our loved one, and that are meaningful to them. Give each of us an understanding of the other’s love language, whether words of affirmation, helping them in some practical way, gifts, quality time, or touch. Give us insight into how they express affection and how they want it expressed to them. Help us learn how to make our partner feel loved and appreciated.
Faithful Father, thank you that you have forgiven all our sins at the cross. As we experience conflict in our relationship, may we be quick to forgive in the same way that we have been forgiven by you. Help us to deal with conflict in a way that makes our relationship stronger. You have promised that you will make all things work together for our good. Please help us to trust you in the midst of conflict. You have loved us and have freed us from our sins by Jesus’ blood. To you be glory and dominion forever and ever. Help us recognize that a happy relationship is one in which the other person completes you – and often that requires different strengths, different abilities, and different ways of looking at things. Teach us to accept the other for the wonderful person they are. Increase our faith that we will view our lives in the light of eternity. May we know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge. May we be filled with all the fullness of God. God of Love, may we be filled with love for each other that reflects your love for us. Your love always trusts, let us trust each other. Your love always hopes, let us be filled with hope, and encourage each other in the hope we have in you. Your love always perseveres, may our love for each other endure through the difficulties of life. Your love never fails, may our love remain strong until the end. Fill us with your love, that we may love each other in the same way.
May we cultivate a relationship of mutual respect and be able to discuss these things thoughtfully and with insight and wisdom. Amen. Loving Father, thank you that you are faithful to fulfill all your promises. You have promised that our faith will never be put to shame when our trust is in you. Thank you that we can trust you to keep us safe in your hand for the rest of our lives. Please help us to rely on you in our relationship, whatever the future may bring. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us always. O Lord my God, thank you that you are our shield and our strength. You have promised that you will never leave us or forsake us, you are always with us. You have joined us together as one flesh. Help us to work together in our relationships. May we support each other, encourage each other and serve each other. Please help us to love each other in the same sacrificial way we have been loved by you. You are the God of hope. Fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit we may abound in hope. Father, the Creator of all things, we thank you for creating us in your image. Help us to take good care of our bodies, so we can have the strength and energy we need. As a couple, guide us in developing a plan for a healthy lifestyle, including eating habits and exercise. Keep us united in building a positive mental attitude and implementing preventative measures against chronic disease. We know that we can build each other up or drag each other down in this area. Help us motivate the other through example and non-judgmental encouragement.
God of Enduring Faithfulness, may we be filled with love for each other that reflects your love for us. Your love is not easily angered. Let us be slow to anger and rich in love for each other. Your love keeps no record of wrongs, let us be quick to forgive each other. Your love rejoices in truth, let us be honest with each other. Your love always protects, let us protect each other. May we love each other in the same way we have been loved by you. Everlasting Father, help us to meaningfully discuss what we envision for our future. Assist us in devising our short-term and long-term goals – the milestones we hope to achieve together. We desire the joy of having something to look forward to as a couple – something we are moving toward in unity. Enable us to think about what we want to achieve within the next year and further into the future. Through realistic goals, help us put our relationship on a path to victory. All-Knowing God, thank you that you are our rock and fortress, we can always find refuge in you. We have promised to love each other in good times and in bad. Your word says that, even though we walk through the darkest valley, we will fear no evil, for you are with us; your rod and your staff, they comfort us. Give me the strength to trust you during the joyful times and during the difficult times. May you fill us with eternal comfort and good hope through grace.
Wonderful Counselor, thank you that you are faithful to fulfill all your promises. Your word says that we have been joined together by you and, for those joined by God, let no one separate. May we be bound together by your unending love. Protect our relationship from attacks and breakdowns. Give us the assurance that you are always with us and are faithful to the end. May the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable in your sight, O Lord. God it would honestly mean a lot if you could answer this prayer and give me miracles on saving my relationship and the possible option of getting surgery on my foot so I’m not in pain anymore. Oh and one more thing god. There is this highschool dance homecoming and I’ve never been to one before and it would honestly mean so much to me if Brody my bf would ask me and that you can show him that he said ask me and that I want to go to a dance like this with him and get the hoco proposal like I have always dreamt of. This is one of many dreams to ask to come true but you. Thank you if you can hear me and answer me I’m so so grateful I pray all of these things in Jesus’s Christ name amen.
