I need to make a decision concerning my husband who is in a short term nursing home, which Medicare pays for. After the 20 days are up, I need a decision on what to do about him and how to pay for it. Medicaid is not an option and neither is paying out of pocket . I refuse to go in debt for this . I need to know if I should bring husband back home or find a way to pay for long term care. My other option was to get divorced from him so I would not be responsible for his care anymore.
