I have a Sister in our congregation of 25 year’s suffering from rage and anger, it has some envy, jealousy and strife rising up, causing stumbling blocks to the church. Her anger toward her husband has been brought up by her multiple time’s during her night’s leading ladies bible study. She will continually text prayer requests at all hour’s of the day over her various family needs. I requested we begine (as a church), several weeks back to pray wherever we are at noon. Thing’s began to change in our church body. However, after she told us ladies last week that “I believed God has healed me from my anger”, she may have just displaced it or redirected it on me, and no longer her husband. I am unable to change anyone’s heart. I can only guide and direct. She holds a position and I do not want to see other believers fall because she is not walking scripturally in both spirit and truth toward those she declare with her mouth she loves, then destroys with her much speaking, her anger, complaining, cold shoulder treatment, and presenting actions of a worldly person. The bible says that we will be known by our fruits. Her fruits are not ripened, they are rotten and it is infectious to the church as a whole. She has made many confessions to the congregation, stating she is not reading or studying the word of God, as she needs to. Her music selection has changed and is more worldly. Just because it’s on the Christian top billboard’s should not be accepted as Holy or approved by God. Are we not to test the Spirits? I believe we should be very careful what we take in to our eye’s, ears, heart and spirit, as we will produce to the world the same as the world already has, not of benefit to saving souls or, we will produce seeds from fruits we bear in due season. I truly need prayer over myself to continue in bold faith with meekness to know my power but keep my spirit in complete self control by remaining in continual communion with Jesus daily both in prayer and the word of God. Also, our church family, over my Sister that is falling daily and is blinded and setting up snares and stumbling blocks within her family and the church. I am in great hope that God will show her, who she has become and his will for her and to place a burning desire to completely surrender to His will, so she will turn back to Him into His word and a right walk by daily fellowship with Him.
