Greetings and prayer request

Most respected one in Christ,

Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus! We would be so blessed and honored to be hearing from you. Please take thanks from each of the PAYRA Inter Church Trust. We strongly believe in the universal unity in Christ over the globe. God has a plan for everyone and everything. That includes you. None of us can fully know God’s plan, the best we can do is pray and listen for clarity. Our leadership has been doing just that and are excited to announce our latest project.

Since I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior in 2007, I have faced many challenges for trying to pursue my Christian faith in Muslim-majority homeland of Bangladesh. With an 87% Muslim population, Bangladesh can often be a very challenging place to pursue the Christian faith. Many in my home nation refused to hire me because I was a Christian. However, I desire to share my faith with my native area caused me getting out to another place. In 2008 in order to try to find a way for Christians to integrate their faith with Bengali culture without compromising their beliefs. A couple years later, we (former Muslim) Christians formed PAYRA Inter Church Trust to spread the gospel and provide social and physical relief to our homeland.

The ministry of PAYRA Inter Church Trust is very diverse, ranging from pastoral care training programs for missionaries and pastors to providing literacy classes for locals. We have evangelized and provided relief to number of lost and desperate people in Bangladesh. PAYRA Trust offers Christian workshops and seminars for new believers. We are providing legal aid to persecuted Christians. Our ministry works to help the believers to practice their Christian faith within the context of the culture of our region.

In this regard we are seeking your prayers. We hope that you’ll consider making a donation towards this great step forward that we’re making together.

Humble greetings,

Edward Reaz Mahamud
CEO, PAYRA Inter Church Trust
