My now 23 year old son who up until last year when he was an even tempered mild manered pleasant university student, has changed sooo much since he told me he’s gotten a girlfriend..I was happy for him. He however started a pattern of insisting that he would stay, sleep over in a couch in his girlfriends share accommodation when he visits her. I was and has been resolute in my stance against that. I have and still do not support that.Holiness is God’s standard for everyone especially those who have put their faith in Him through Christ. My stance has caused a great deal of misunderstanding between myself and my son. This year in February, he insisted he would move out. I dissuaded him,but all fell on dead ears. He moved out. I’m glad I resisted the urge to ask him to leave. I want us to agree together to ask for God’s Mercy to challenge my son Cedric and for His Holy Spirit to encounter the young man, convict him of his ways and allow Cedric to return to the foot of the Cross with a contrite spirit. I look to God.and hold on to His promises that though hand join in hand, that He will not allow wickedness to go unpunished, but He will deliver the offspring of the righteous. Proverbs 11:21
