Our 8 year old grandson is moving 1500 miles away from us. His mother, a single mother, is not a believer and only focused on herself and what makes her happy. She purposely works a night shift. She leaves him with strangers and he already has been physically abused by younger kids. She doesn’t believe her when he tells her. She tells him to suck it up. As grandparents we have no legal rights. Our hearts are broken. He leaves today. We don’t have the means financially to move by him or we would. She is going to be leaving him with more strangers, a nanny who she has hired online, with 10 kids. I am begging God to make a way for us to move near him so we could be his caretakers when she is out living her selfish life, and begging God to protect him.
