Heavenly Father, my child is your greatest gift,
and my biggest challenge!
I know my child is truly distressed,
and yet I am at my wit’s end to find a peaceful resolution.
I feel helpless and frustrated.
I ask myself, What would my Heavenly Father
do in His infinite wisdom and beneficence?
Lord, come into my heart and mind,
and share Your loving wisdom with me!
Help my child to heal his pain, and help me
to become as loving and wise a parent, as You are for us
Your children. Thank You Lord, for
hearing me and coming to my aid! Bring your loving Peace to me and my child today.

Lord, I came to this place to look for a prayer for my baby girl, my princess, the love of my life, I came here because I am not good at finding the right words to pray.
My daughter doesn’t believe I love her, she has a very low self-esteem , she has been depressed for quite some time, she has thread me with leaving the house and kill herself .
She can’t take any type of confrontation, she turns into this negative, sad and angry person every time we have an issue , even the smallest things can create a big explotion.
I don’t know what to do, I wish I knew but I don’t, all I ever wanted is for my kids to be happy, I wish you would get into her heart and heal her sorrows, help her to believe in herself and the love we all feel for her.
She is the precious gift you gave me 14 years ago, please help me to be a good mom and keep her safe, please help me so I know what to do or say.
I trust you and I believe you can change people’s lives , please change hers so she can be happy again.

Please help my 10 year old son in his battle with feeling that life isn’t worth living. He’s only 10. We have him in therapy yet it seems like he has been having set backs. He is a challenge and feels that no one loves him when he gets into trouble for not listening. I love him more than he will ever know and just want him to be happy.
Dear God, please help us with our daughter. She is not herself and hasn’t been form over 1 year now. God please do not abandon her & forgive all that she has said & done. Please God, I am a sinner & deserve to be punished. Please God heal my daughter from her anger, anxiety & the evil of this world. Allow her to break free from this evil that has gotten a hold of her. Dear Lord: Please be with my daughter. She has suffered immensely over the last three years. She has no self value or worth and started by cutting herself to relieve pain. From there she went to telling her friends she is going to kill herself. One night she came to our bedroom to tell us that she had swallowed a bunch of pills and was regretting the decision . We rushed her to the hospital. Over the years I have been over protective of her and concerned about her where abouts. She has moved out of the house at 17 because she hates that I don’t trust her. I pray that you relieve her of her darkness that has been plaguing her for years. I ask that you send your Spirit and shed light into all her darkness. I pray that her guardian angel will guide her back to you and to us. Jesus said :” Bring the children to me “. I am giving You my daughter as I did in Baptism and Confirmation. Please guide her through our most difficult moments. Amen .
Heavenly Father, please help heal my 18 year old son who suffers from anxiety and depression. He is a wonderful caring young man who feels as though the world is against him. He wants desperately to have friends that he can share moments of laughter with, as well as moments of sorrow. He feels isolated and alone and it breaks my heart as a mother to feel as though my efforts are helpless. Pray for him and protect him, and all others that suffer from this horrible illness. Please also protect my older son who has shown nothing but compassion and care for his brother and has even put his social life on hold for him. Amen

She now is dependent on it mentally to make it through each day. She is failing in school and doesn’t have the energy or ambitioun to get up in the morning.

They are not happy with the school they go to, my oldest daughter just experienced her 1st love break up which has made her start cutting herself, my youngest daughter has a hard time with some girls not liking her. God I pray for my two older boys. I understand that the are still under distress after their father and I divorced 7 years ago. Please let them realize who was at fault. Release them from all evilness and touch their hearts. Help them realize that I have always been a hardworking loving mother just for them. I know I can’t give them everything they want due to financial burdens, but let them realize that love and attention is more important than material things. Lord please protect my son from anger and depression, from self doubt. Protect him from people that want to see him fail that don’t believe in him, put a hedge of protection around those who mean to harm him and dont care about him. Please Lord help him succeed in that which he is so passionate about. Please give him the wisdom he needs to be joyful. Open his heart and his mind to receive you and to know that he can do nothing apart from you. Please let him turn to you for everything. Soften peoples hearts toward him, that they can see the good in him and not take advantage of it but that they will want to help him. Open doors for opportunities a better school a church in which his desire for You will grow. Surround him with good friends that are committed and trustworthy. Soften coaches and teachers heart towards him. Give him the desire to study hard and leave social media and distractions behind. Keep his body healthy. Give him the wisdom to know when to stay away from girls that are just not good for him and will drag him down. I pray for his future wife that right now she is loving you and is a Jesus girl. Give him a desire for others, that he will be a light in a dark place, that he will help another that is in need of You. Take away his selfishness. But most of all Lord I pray that he falls deeply in love with you Jesus and wants to serve you and will find joy in serving you Lord. Lastly please give me the wisdom to parent him like you would want me to. To be the mother he needs and the mother You need me to be for him. I ask that you heal our relationship with him that he realizes how much we love him and that he can trust us. In Jesus name I pray all these things.

I was looking for a prayer for my daughter when I stumbled on this website. I would never wish for any parent to have a child suffer from depression, but I no longer feel so alone when I read these prayer requests others have left. These parents share the same feelings of grief, helplessness, and sometimes despair that I do in trying to help my daughter. I will keep them all in my prayers.

I pray for me and all these parents that are obviously aching for our children. I lift every single one of these children that are afflicted by anger, anxiety and depression. Your Word says that by your stripes we are healed, today and every day I stand in your promise. Please pray for my son. He was once really on fire for God, attending another church, getting deeply involved in church till he neglected his studies, since last year. However, he backslid this year. He is very anti-Christ now.
He is suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts even when he was greatly involved in church. He has low self esteem and low self worth, probably from the damage done by his father who once called him a failure when he was young. After he left church, he thought that all troubles left him. However, he started having emotional turmoil again. He will cry for no reason and suddenly hitting stuff around him. Then he will bellow loudly that no one understands him.
I couldn’t reach out to him and had been praying for him. I am at my wits’ end, I do not know if he is under demonic attack (which I have been praying and commanding it out), or psychological issues.
I seek God for more wisdom, understanding and empathy to deal with my son. Thank you.

Heavenly Father, those of us here who have a child dealing with depression, may you strengthen each one of us to help pray for them. May you heal them from their pain and anguish and fill them with Your joy. Help to heal their broken lives and make them whole in You. Open my son’s eyes and soften his heart to hear and know You, the One True God who loves each of us. Reveal Your love to him in a way only You can. Please pray for my son – he has been depressed and suicidal for many years. I try to compensate for things that happened in his childhood that I allowed to happen. His father was on drugs and I stayed and kept him in that mess. We have come a long way and he tells me he doesn’t blame me and that he forgives me but now he just has this notion that life is just worthless and that no one will truly ever love him. God, I know only you can heal his heart therefore I give him to you .
I request a prayer for my, he was working as a contractor, it was not renewed to COVID 19, he is so stressed and depressed, he feel lonely.
