Dear Lord, I come to you now to ask for your guidance, direction and favor on my journey to find employment. You know that the job that I loved was eliminated do to budget cuts and I have been searching earnestly for almost 6 months. 2 interviews that did not end in a job offer and no other prospects that I know of is really weighing heavy on my heart and has shaken my confidence.
I know that everything that I have gone through, going through, and yet to go through is in accordance to you will. I know that the plans that you have for me are good and not of evil and to give me a future and a hope. I need strength Lord to endure until I am blessed with the job that you have pre ordained for me.

In reading all these prayers it seems from all over the world I see a pattern a kind of guide line for the Grace of Almighty God. Some of these prayers are quite desperate and serious even to a point of giving up and giving in. We are living in times unlike any in the history of this world with more death, starvation, and strife than ever before recorded. I see these television shows, I am sure most of you have where the husband and wife are deciding which house they are going to purchase and I wonder how we live in such times where those with so much are blind to those who are having a hard time deciding whether to buy food or pay the electrical bill. I have often wondered if I had all the money I could ever need would I be a good steward of Gods blessings would I look around and see who is suffering and in need and help them ? I would have to I would because that is what Christ expects me to do. I look at my on life and how it has changed and changed me in the process I pray most every day sometimes more than once and I feel better when I pray I feel better knowing that this life is not the end that there is more much more to come and that it will wonderful when it does. Then I think about the flaws and faults in my life how I have sinned and broken Gods laws and it scares me a little to wonder if my asking for forgiveness is enough will He say, ” depart from me I never knew you or enter my good and faithful servant”. Its a hard world no matter how tuff you think you are there is always someone who will win out over you. I can’t help but wonder what will Christ say to me on my day of judgment will there be an eternity in Heaven for me I have been through so much just as most of you I have been knocked on the ground and not allowed to get back up.
But you know it is beginning not to bother me whether that is food or bad I do not know but I sometimes scare myself.
I pray that Gods will for my life I pray for all those who like me have experienced a loss and do not know how to go about making life feel comfortable and peaceful again or just being in a place where things make sense and I am not afraid anymore. I pray that for everyone who has posted on this page that we all are so different but also so much alike I know God hears all our prayers and knows our hearts how we can see past all boundries and come together in His name for the betterment of all our brothers and sisters all over the world we were all created in His image He is our Father, Saviour and King and I know without a shodow of a doubt that He feels for each and every one of His children and as long as we keep our faith and we stay the course that in the end we will see each other in fullest of joy I pray that everyone who is alone , poor, jobless, hungry , thirsty , lost hope, or just plain given up to take a deep breath and remember that we always have Him with is no matter what.

I love what I do, but it’s a field that when there are layoffs at a company we are generally the first to go. Luckily I have always found something within months, it also a position that is in demand.
I recently lost my job after seven years and fearing a bad economy accepted a position with 100% travel. Returning each night to an empty hotel room and eating meals alone is no fun. Plus the job and hotel are in an industrial complex so there is not much to do at night.

I’ve been looking for a permanent job in the medical field for two years. A staffing agency place me at a site and they’ve been extending my assignment from month to month since 2011. Well my assignment ends on 3-28-2013. I’m trying to have faith. Thank you Jesus.I do have a partime job on the weekend, but I don’t want that to be my full time job. The hours are long and we don’t get lunches, but the owner is a good person. He helped me when my car went down. Iam thankful for that. I need prayer. I interviewed for one of the best hospitals in Michigan which is the University of Michigan. The day of my interview my son stepped on my glasses, but he put them back together just so I could see for the interview. The interview went well, but I haven’t heard from them. Please, Lord. Help me find a job that is right for me. I am being very patient, Lord. Last night, I cried myself to sleep from the all of the pain in my teeth that I desperately need to get fixed. Please, Lord – let my new job offer dental insurance. My last employer didn’t offer benefits, and my tooth has been cracked since December, 2011. I am in so much pain, it is becoming unbearable. As you are aware, Lord, I quit my last job because my Boss was so verbally abusive and I just could not take it any longer. I sometimes wish I had the strength to keep taking his abuse, but I just couldn’t hang in there long enough, Lord. For that I am sorry. I know that you use our struggles to push us into our purpose, and so I am grateful that you have allowed me to struggle, so that I may be humbled before you. But, Lord, I do not think I can continue struggling anymore. I need to pay bills now, Lord. I have been babysitting for very little money, and the boys that I watch are such little blessings. I thank you for this opportunity to help grow these boys, but their mother can only afford to pay me very little. I thank you for bringing this family into my life, and I wish to stay in it. But, Lord – I do need more income, God. I do need to get my teeth fixed. My teeth hurt so much, Lord. The bills are starting to stack up and I need to pay them, Lord.
