I have never prayed in a very long time, and I write this with a very heavy heart. To me, it feels like I was in control of everything in my life and did not have time for prayer. Now I find myself in this situation and I cannot stop worrying about a poor colleague from Nepal who through my own wrongdoing, he was caught and now the security cannot allow him access back to our workplace. I am 100% guilty of this and he has nothing to do with it. I have not denied any of this wrongdoing from my side with my employer and I was cleared by my employer to continue to work but since my friend is a third-party helper, the company cannot give much attention to help him get his access back to work. He is a very good helper, hard-working, creative and so active in his duties. Someone whom I can rely 100% on to do the job when I assign him anything and he will do it without supervision. The thing that makes me worry about him is that he is partly illiterate and cannot speak good English although he can understand a bit of verbal and written English. That has made it difficult to explain himself well to the security guards while he was caught in possession of substances that I gave him as a gift but not allowed by the security to be brought into the work premises. He has a son who is living with his grandparents in Nepal, and he is in primary school there. His wife is working in Qatar as a domestic helper, and he is a third-party helper here working with us in Dubai. Both parents work and live away from Nepal for up to 6 years. I am a Christian and he is a Buddhist. The tones of apologies that I can make will not help him and his family so I come here on this page to offer my prayer request to seek God’s intervention to help him get back to his work. I just want him back with us at the company to be able to continue working and earn some money to continue to support his family. I did not mean to cause him any harm, I just wanted him to be happy when I offered him the gift. I now offer my prayer here to God the creator of heaven and earth, please have mercy on my colleague, I am totally at fault for this all and I did not intend any bad consequences on my friend, please I pray to God the Father that You can help grant my friend access back to our workplace. I believe everything is possible in Jesus’ name and I offer this prayer this morning at 6:28 am, on Saturday 19-08-2023 through Jesus’ gracious name. Amen.
