In December of 2019 I had a disagreement with my aunt and she asked me to give her space to process things. I failed to respect a boundary she had set with me and although I didnt do that to be malicious, it has definitely caused us to be distant. Months went by where I did not speak to her until June 2020 the time of her birthday. She said at the time she was thankful that I continued to love and support her and said our doors will open again. Occasionally I message her asking how I can pray for her which she appreciates but I miss our time together terribly. I want to see her again and focus on her needs and how I can be the best nephew possible for her. We used to visit several times a year and encourage each other on Facebook and my heart is broken that I am in a season where that no longer occurs. She said our doors will open again and I believe it to be true but I miss her. I constantly think about her and really want to visit her again. I also pray she will attend my wedding in November. Pray our doors will open again as she said they would. I love her and would do anything for her.
