Hi, thank you for taking the time to consider this prayer request. My name is Roy, and I’m currently a university student that is going to graduate in an year. The economy has been particularly rough on the labour market, which has dashed my hopes of finding a finance internship placement this summer (which would translate into an actual full time job). I ask for prayer to get this internship placement because I’m in desperate need of money. My parents have sold their business and we are living on unemployment pay cheques. We have never been rich and have always worked hard in our little business which got shut-down by the recession. I’m an only child so I’m the only hope for the family to live a financially stable life going inwards. My parents have no sizable savings and so I really need a good internship position to put food on the table. I’ve given up my dreams to pursue a master’s degree or a PhD. All this pressure, alongside pressures from school are really taking a toll on me. I’ve always worked hard and I’m willing to work harder, but I just ask for an interview opportunity at least. Thank you once again.
