I’ve been recovering from a motor-vehicle accident since November 15, 2018, 4 weeks after spearheading the first A21 Walk For Freedom in Windsor-Essex County, Ontario, Canada. I’m still recovering from a traumatic brain injury which has completely changed my life. I’ve had to relearn EVERYTHING as it affected my short-term memory.
I’m only 39 years old, almost 40 this year and I have a single parent in Singapore to take care of when I move back home. I’ve not moved because of this insurance settlement. The insurance company is low-balling my lawyer by offering a little over 0.5 million. My lawyer is trying to get me $1.2 M as that’s what he believes I deserve. And because I cannot work, this insurance settlement is for the rest of my life. It is not cheap living in Singapore.
On top of that, my husband started abusing me 2 years ago. He is currently serving a restraining order from being charged by the police and his restraining order ends on August 8th.
Because of TBI and spousal abuse, I now have clinical depression.
I have no family here in Windsor at all. My entire family is in Singapore.
Can you please pray for the insurance company to increase their offer to a reasonable amount and for my husband to have true repentance and for him to agree with my 4-Prong Marital Reconciliation Strategy?
