Pray for Anthony’s health and pain and to get a diagnosis soon. The MRI again showed nothing but the pain is real. For years now he has had bowel narrowing and blockages and so much scar tissue from surgery to fix issues yet they can never find a cause. Same with his NON-diabetic hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) which has been terribly low and they can never find the issue. The feeding tube they put in is also not keeping his sugars up like it is supposed to. He feels like a Guinea pig as they only are treating the symptoms and cannot find the cause yet agree there is something. But every time he ends up in the hospital, staff who don’t know his history as well just look at him like he just wants to complain. He is grumpy and losing hope and feels like he is dying. He is only 43 and his last few years have been like of an elderly person. He can’t work and has no energy even though he is a skinny fit guy. Something is causing all this pain and weakness in his hands and feet and bowel issues and low blood sugars but no one can help him but treat symptoms every few weeks over and over again in hospital. He is tired of it. He is in the USA and luckily he is on disability but many things are not covered and things are hard. Wait times are long as he drives to the ER because ambulance is too expensive even though he said that is covered. He doesn’t like to bring attention to himself and at least with his car he can leave if the wait turns out to be just too unbearable for him to wait in the ER. I wish I was not in Canada so I could be there for him. He has a roommate, his friend Robert, but he doesn’t know what to do for Anthony neither. No one does. Anthony needs a miracle.
