Dear Prayer Community,
I ask you to pray for my relationship with my 2 daughters. No matter what I do for them it is unappreciated. I do everything for them, (make meals, wash their clothes, put them away, drive them to appointments, get them school supplies, drive them to school, take them to visit friends, or to Activities, treat them with gifts, take-out, pray for them, and the list goes on and on). They are Sarcastic at times, judgemental, and very hurtful with their words, and only once in a while say thank you. They seem like they are embarrassed by me, and very rarely want to spend time with my husband or me. They often don’t want to go to church, or take the time to pray, or go to Confession, or complete assignments for CCD, or School. Every day is a Battle. I am so tires of the arguing, disagreements, noncompliance and lack of Respect. IRS so hard with each of them and even though I am not perfect in any way, I feel that I am A Good Mother. They are so absorbed with their phones, and other electronics, that the most important things in life are taken for granted and are not appreciated.
I reach out to you for prayers that God will help my relationship with them, but also that He will Open their Eyes, Ears, and Hearts to Him. I pray that they will be open to His Spirit, and that we may be Guided and Directed as a Family. I really need God’s intervention. I am so tired, frustrated, and sad. In so many ways, Broken, and alone. I truly believe in the power of Prayer and so I ask all of you to keep me and my family in your prayers.
