Dear Lord,
So often, I turn to fear and anxiety quicker than I turn to You. Help me to be active in placing my trust in You. You are sovereign and in control of all. You have said that You will keep those who trust in You in perfect peace. (Isaiah 26: 3 & 4)
But at my age and out of work, and numerous places applied to, I find myself seemingly under attack from the enemy, who puts doubt in my head.
Lord, You have said that the person who trusts in you is blessed. (Psalm 40:4) You have promised that you will make my path straight when I trust in You with all my heart and do not depend on my understanding, yet I fret and become unstable. Please comfort me on highest of high, and please provide me with a job that I am good at so I can provide and work. I ask of you oh Lord, please comfort me, strengthen me, provide me with the power of obedience and trust in you, Help me oh Lord I ask, please. Amen
