Dear Father, I surrender my heart into your strong but gentle hands. It’s been broken yet again but You knew this was coming. Nothing surprises you & nothing is too hard for You. Oh how I need You; desire You. Please fill the longing of my heart & hold me secure in this storm. Do not let me go Father, for You are my hope & future. And my prayer is not for me alone but for my family too. For we’re all sharing this same loss of our beloved & we wonder, “what more could I have done? Forgive me for not doing more.”
You are so gracious & tender-hearted & I praise You. Help me, help us, hold on to Thy truth & find comfort & strength to keep believing. In His precious name, Amen.
