Please pray for courage for me to make the call to get the help I need to fight the addiction that has weighed me down all my life. Pray for God’s mercy for myself and my family who I put in a very bad position though my poor choices. Jesus give me strength and encouragement as I face the consequences of my actions. Lord I ask for victory over this addiction once and for all. Father I know that I sinned against You though my thoughts and actions. I humble myself and ask for Your forgiveness and grace. Father, heal me and the damage I caused to my family. Create a clean heart in me oh God and renew a right spirit within me. While I don’t know what the future brings though all this for me or my family, Lord fill us with Your Holy Spirit to comfort us and guide us though it. I ask that we emerge from the other side of this stronger, more deeply committed to You, willing servants to serve You better. In Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
