Dear God,
As you know I have suffered in relationships with both of my daughters. My youngest is the one that I am more concerned about. I have wrestled with trying to figure out how to make it work for quite some time now (for years). Deep in my heart God, I know I need to turn this relationship over to you, as your word tells me to cast my cares over to you because you care for me. Lately as today I have been so down and depressed. She thinks that I am trying to tell her how to run her life, and how she should bring up her children. All the advise I give to her Lord is encouragement, but for some reason to her it comes out like I’m trying to rule her life. She says some really mean things to me Father; choice Words that I dare not repeat in this prayer. I am so tired of feeling down and depressed because of the things she say to me. God I pray that the next time she put a glass of alcohol to her mouth, that the taste will turn her away from it. I love you Heavenly Father and I hope that you accept this prayer and bring me peace. In Jesus Mighty name I pray. Amen.
