Our 4 adult children have all left the faith. One (a doctor) is completely estranged and won’t let us meet his son (15 months) over our unvaccinated status. All have hurts from being pastors kids and have harboured bitterness over what they saw in the Church and Christian school. Some are exploring other spirituality and one returned from university indoctrinated in woke feminist ideology. We confess we left too much to Sunday school or Christian school teachers and we’re too busy to parent them as intentionally as we should have. The enemy has been using our failure to pass on our beloved faith to any of our children (and 5 grandchildren who are not being raised as Christians) to eat me alive lately.
