I have been diagnosed with a hidden disability. I was not able to prove my condition got worse at my disability hearing and my lawyer dropped me. I had inadequate help. The problem when I go to work is because I look normal, and speak normally, I supposedly don’t need accommodations. I failed at giving my best because of needing the accommodations. Then in some interviews, I mentioned my disability and was dismissed. I am having trouble with resumes and job applications, submitting them online. I had “help” in the past. The resume was not very professional looking, nor was it correct, nor did it show my skills very well. I also have a family special needs. My spouse is on disability. Some days he needs care more than others. My daughter has things going on with her that is difficult to take care of in our rural community. Both of them have some strong mental illness they are dealing with too.
