Day 6
Bible Verse: “Do not hide your face from me…”(Psalm 27:9).
Sometimes as people of God we have the tendency to hide. Most of the time, it usually means that we are living in shame. The Lord does not want us to live like we have something to hide. We should come clean of whatever is hindering our walk with Christ. This is how the spirit of God begins to heal us from our transgression. We may feel ashamed of what we have done in the sight of the Lord, but God loves us enough to forgive us from our sins and make us white as snow. Once we allow God to cleanse us and make us new , we can be free from bondage and condemnation. Sure, in the sight of God we are not made perfect, but we can strive to be! We should know that even as we live our life, there is nothing that the Lord doesn’t already know. We may have pride in ourselves but that doesn’t mean the Lord can’t break that pride in order to make us come to an agreement to live according to the will of our Father in heaven. So. we should be careful about how were living and start striving for forgiveness. Let us pray: Lord, forgive me and take away my shame. Amen.
