Day 1
Bible Verse: “She got Him a wicker basket and covered it over with tar and pitch. Then she put the child into it, and set it among the reeds by the bank of the Nile.” (Exodus 2:3). Are you a mother? Is there any time during your life that you prayed over your child, hoping that God would take care of them? Did you have to let go of them in life and let God take care of them? Well, this mother had to give up her son, in fear that all the first born would be killed. She prayed that someday someone would adopt Him and make Him successful. He did become successful and greatly respected because of one women’s faith in the Lord and prayers. Sometimes in life, we need to have our children in the hands of God so that they too will become great leaders like this child sailing along the Nile River in a basket. This could be your child. where only God would know your destiny in life! Let us pray: Lord, sometimes life takes us by surprise. God, I know You will direct our children’s lives and take care of us all, because we are all children of God. Amen.
