What’s Next?

I have the disability of blindness. I searched for work for six years after college upon working my way through college. I moved to Chicago for a government job and got fired by an ungodly boss who is Muslim with his boss being a Freemason Baptist and his boss being a vice lord. Neither one of them thought that a blind guy needed to be making six figures. With gods help I did. I served our country for 9 1/2 years before they couldn’t take it anymore. I’ve been applying since early December with two phone interviews. I’ve also started my own consulting business helping vendors into the federal sector. I’m almost 40 years old. Going back to live with my parents truly will humble me. I’m not really sure why employment seems to be a problem for me. I’ve always been intelligent and I’ve always been cordial. Everybody seems to rely on me for a pick me up but when I need one nobody is there to give one to me. I’ve also ran into a tremendous amount of jealousy from family, family friends, old classmates, and former coworkers, their kids, church peers as well as those who are in the blindness community with me. I appreciate your prayers and support as I have a strong daily routine. Thanks. God bless.
