Lord I pray for Steve’s mind to be protected from the lies of Satan and open to Your truth. Take all blinders completely off of him so that he can see every pit of lust for what it is. Help him to fully understand what damage any degree of lust does to our relationship when he gives place to it in any way. Open his eyes to danger and give him strength to avoid situations and people that could draw him into it again. Enable him to see pornography and any other sexually explicit images as wrong in Your eyes. Turn his eyes away from worthless things (Psalm 119:37-39). Help him understand the greatness of Your power on his behalf (Ephesians 1:17-19). If he fails in this area, help me to trust him again. Help me to not have resentment, suspicion, or jealousy because of his misplaced affections. Help me to not feel betrayed. Show me all I can do to help him Lord, I surrender Steve to You completely. Do whatever it takes to get him to see the truth about all that he does. Put Your love in his heart for me, and keep his eyes, heart, and mind from finding others attractive. Expose every lie masquerading as truth to him Help him to put off all conduct that is not in alignment with Your will and reject all corruption that comes from “deceitful lusts” (Ephesians 4:22). Don’t let him be taken down a path that leads to death and hell (Proverbs 5:3-5). Deliver him and we will say, “This was the LORD’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes” (Mark 12:11). Help him to resist all temptation. Give him the “spirit of wisdom and revelation” so that the eyes of his understanding will be enlightened and that he will know the hope of his calling (Ephesians 1:17-18). In Jesus’ name I pray
