Wisdom and Focus

by Karina (Miami FL USA)

God you are so generous. You provided, just as you promised. You said “I will supply all your needs out of my vast store of wealth in heaven.” I believed this, and now I’ve seen you prove it first hand. I asked for a job and you gave me one! I’m so grateful. These are hard times for many people. I don’t take this gift lightly. I believe I will be a blessing to my new employer; they certainly will be a blessing to me and my family. I’m honored with this trust. Thank you! and Thank you! Now I ask for wisdom. I have employment; I need strength, and endurance to DO the job I have been assigned, Honestly today I feel over my head. I have so much to learn, so many people to get to know, so many policies to master, so many paths to walk, and seemingly all at the same time. The stress of “No work” have been replaced by the stress of “Too much work”. I need your help. You have promised in James 1, that I can ask you for wisdom and you will give it/ This is for me! Please grant me wisdom today. I’m not smart enough to handle my new duties. I need insight, emotional strength, guidance with time management, empathy in relationships. creativity to solve challenges and most of all joy when I feel overwhelmed by the expectations others have placed on me, and expectations I’m placing on myself Thank you for providing this new job. Now please give me all that I need to master it. I ask already knowing that you are hearing and care. You have given provision; You won’t leave me alone to do it alone. Even as I pray this, I believe you are answering my request already. Thank you for wisdom! In Jesus’s great name I pray Amen!
