November of 2019 I was notified that I had a pension pending from a previous employer (I’m retired). I have tried to have my pension plan authorized for my receipt. The pension is retroactive from March of 2014. I’ve been told that I would receive back pay from 3/14 in one lump sum followed by regular monthly payments for life.
To date (4/26/21) my pension has not been released. I’m unable to get any definitive answers why. I have done everything asked of me to no avail. I’m divorced (final divorce 7/20). My ex-spouse is beneficiary on this pension (she will receive benefits upon my death). For some reason a hold has been placed on payment by their legal department. Again no answers/response to my inquires.
I have prayed and continue to pray for guidance and patience as to what I should do. I need peace-of-mind. I don’t know what else to do.
I need help with this, its causing unnecessary worry, despair, and anger. HELP!
