What do you do?

Please lord, what do you do when your dad has surgery and you want a friend over and your mom says no but every thing could work out fine. And on top of that you are going to have a horrible day tommrow because you had to skip the PTA program and all your friends did not and you will have to write sentaces while your friends get to play.

Also, all of your friends are Rock Stars of the Month and you are the only one who has not and you will be seen as the bad girl while all of your friends are good. Finally, because of the surgery you will not get to celebrate your birthday and your mom is going away and your mom is mad at you.

Please tell me what to do,
Sara

Hi Sara I understand that right now this all seems unfair and truly bad timing. However I need you to know that first and foremost God could never see you as bad, even when you fall short of his expectations. Focus on your family right now, and try to put aside those wants that are selfish. No pain or discomfort is everlasting. What’s important at this time is your father’s recovery, put your energy into that rather concerns that will change as days pass.

Pray for your fathers healing from his surgery, once he is well it will be easier to have visitors and birthday celebrations.

    Hi Sara
I can only imagine how disappointing and unfair life may seem. Keep saying prayers and focus on what’s most important to you. Lots of small things can add up but often they aren’t what is really important
    God loves you.
