My son has been married for 16 years. He and his wife have been happy, or so it seemed. They made some big changes in their life-buying a large home, homeshcooling, etc. The stress brought their problems to the surface and his wife wanted to be separated. They have been separated for 1 year.
My prayer is that God would give my son clear understanding of ways in which he has failed to understand her, which has made her feel unprotected, and unloved. They each have their own things they struggle with, so the Lord is working in both of them.
Please pray for my son. Some of the things which she feels and needs don’t seem valid to him. He sees it through his logical, male perspective which puts up a wall between them. Please pray that God will show him how He wants him to grow in his faith in Christ, to see his wife as Christ sees her. And that he would learn to have compassion for her emotions and needs.
He has s strong walk with Christ, so he is always seeking God’s will.
