The sin of Procrastination in my life

by Lana ()

Lord, I come to you and ask that You would help me to overcome my sin of “Procrastination”. Your word has spoken to me this morning through Psalm 138:8 “ The Lord will work out His plans for my life—for Your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not abandon me, the works of Your Hands.” I know that Your plan for me is to use my gift of writing, yet everyday I find excuses not to sit down and pursue this gift. Now, you have shown me how my gift can encompass Cary, my son-in-law, who is in a state of depression, since being without work now for some time. Help me O LORD, Who endures forever, and Who created me for Your good works to do this thing that You have set before me—to write a book and ask Cary to illustrate it. Lord, Your word says, “nothing is too hard for You”, so I ask that You do this thing that I ask, in the Holy name of Jesus, Amen.
