Strength for family and sick Dad

Dear Lord,

I know you are near and will always guide me to do the right things.
In these difficult times, I often forget to think about your infinite love and plans for me and only focus on the pain, the fear and the void; of losing someone dear to me.

Please give me your strength and your courage to face these hardships and teach me to learn how to embrace them, knowing that you are with me the entire way as I face them.

I pray for my Dad to also find strength and believe in your will, as well as to keep the faith; the faith in which to know that you are always with him, keeping him from harm. Amen.
