strength and Peace in times of Adversity

by Nydia ()

Lord, you know my needs, my worries, my sadness, my anxiety and at times my frustrations. Help me Lord be strong in my faith that I know those doors will open for me at the time you find it best. You know my sadness Lord because of my brother’s passing. I know we are here for a time and his time came and you forsakes him from his suffering from the cancer that engulfed his body nd took him from us so quickly. I pray Lord that you have mercy on his soul and forgive him for those times he may have offended you. I pray for your mercy to receive him in your heavenly kingdom. I give to you my Lord Jesus my husband, Ramon Veloz. Lord please her my prayer in breaking that addiction called alcoholism that is destroying his will, his body and our marriage. Give him the wisdom LORD to accept and seek help soon before his body ails from the consequences of consuming so much alcohol. Open his mind, his heart, his voice so that he can better communicate. I’m sorry for my frustrations with him some times Lord, you know how I’m feeling. I’m feeling sad, Impotent not knowing what more can I do for him to embrace getting help and facing with strength the challenge to overcome his addiction. Save my marriage, dear Lord. Allow us to continue together with health, prosperity and life. I M blessed, Lord in spite of not having a job, battling with depression, anxiety, fatigue, our constant worry every month trying to make ends meet. I thank you for it all because I know that even if I get close to the edge of the cliff, you will never allow me to fall. Bless my daughter, Ariana, protect her and deliver her from all evil. Open her mind to always choose wisely and expand her knowledge, but most of all in expanding her faith in you. Bless my brothers, Victor and Robert, who like me, are grieving for the loss of our brother Hector. Give them peace, dry our tears fill our aching hearts with the memories we have, for the time we got to share throughout his life and for the privilege you gave me by having given me strength to help him in those moments he needed care, a hand to hold while he endured his chemo, company to have so he would never feel alone and I am grateful to you God for having given me that last moment to tell him how much I loved him when he was able to listen and I was able to hear from him, I love you more, sis. Lord Jesus you are the rock I seek to keep me strong because I know you are listening and I also know one day you will answer. For yours is the Kingdom, the Power and Glory, forever, Amen!
