Dear Lord.
Please show me how to forgive Janly. The daily lies over 2 yrs. The dating sites. The rendezvous with other men. Please teach me how to forgive. Show me how to forgive the lies,unfaithfulness, betrayal and disloyalty. Show me the way father. Show me how my Lord to forgive the disrespect,public humiliation and belittling.
And help me forgive myself for thinking of vengeance and bad life for Janly. That is not my place and certainly not christian way of life. Forgive me my Lord.
I wished ill against someone who suffers from a mental disorder. Please forgive me father, I didn’t know narcissism was a disorder. I thought it a choice. Forgive me Lord.
But most of all father teach Ling Ling to forgive herself. One day a memory will resurface and she will see that her arrogance and the dismissal of sound and convincing knowledge given her and didnt heed to because her ego won’t allow her partner to be acknowledged for something that she didn’t, came with a cost. Show her how to forgive herself. Having the ability and opportunity to save a life is a gift from God. Not using it and then seeing the consequences must come with a great guilt. Teach her how to forgive herself Lord. And forgive me father for not following up a life or death situation. I could have prevented tragedy if I intervened. Forgive me Lord.
And forgive me Lord for not seeking your guidance to end my self pity and restore my dignity. Forgive me father for allowing dark thoughts enter my head. Forgive me father for losing my faith.
Show me the way back my Lord.
