My marriage is under great strain. Lord, touch my heart and my wife’s heart that we may again experience your love that brought us together. That we will see each other again with those new eyes. Keep this family united in selfless service, thoughtfulness, and giving to one another. Heal our hearts and fill us with your spirit. Give us the conviction to truly serve one another and to put each other before ourselves. Remove all selfishness and bitterness, and the insistence of doing our own will or following our own ideas. Renew our hearts and spirits that we might let go of the desire to control our lives. Fill us with patience and kindness. Your will is that our family be together and united and to serve as an example of peace, community, and love.
Please let God hear and answer my prayers and to move in His great might to renew every spirit and every mind and to mend every heart and hurt. That He have great and transformative encounters with us to move us to to be all we can be in Him.
