Recently I asked my special sweetheart to marry me, and she said “Yes”! 4 days later, she called it off. Doubt, worries, fears, she was terrified of my past failed relationship and she didn’t know how to react to those. For well over a week now she has cut off all communication with me, which is so not like this wonderful woman. Well today she finally broke her silence, told me she was at a funeral, but afterward she would “write me an email”. While I am so very excited to finally hear a word from her, this statement – instead of saying that she would “chat with me” or video chat as we always have, has me a bit concerned. this sounds very formal and final to me. I have never stopped praying nearly continuously that God would restore our relationship and allow us to be overcomers together. I am hoping and praying that this email is a beacon of hope and not a letter of final goodbye. I am not sure I could handle that. I know God put the two of us together – without a doubt. I pray that today’s email will be one of hope and not a final farewell. Please pray with me and for us that God would work a miracle in her life, in my life, and in our life together. God still works miracles, even when we least expect it. I am praying for a miracle of miracles here, and hope you would agree with me in prayer that God would work a miracle in our lives.
