I was in a relationship for 2 years with the love of my heart. We are both Christian. 3 weeks ago she suddenly dumped me. And almost immediately afterward started sleeping with and dating a guy who drinks at the bar she works at.
He does not work, is a single father of a boy, he was living above the bar at the hotel and would have people watch his boy as he would sit in the bar and drink. He is not a very nice indivdual, neither is he Christian. Does not believe in God. Chrissy (my love’s name) and I live in the same apartment buliding but not in the same suite. My name is Dennis. I work 2 jobs (one for government and other as a bartender on weekends) She is 36 and I 39.
I do believe she has since moved this individual into her apartment. She will not even speak to me and has broken my heart so very badly. I pray constantly and read the scripture every day. I even clutch my bible close to me as I sleep for the past 3 weeks. I wish and pray more than anything for her return. I would truly forgive her. i would also suggest relationship counselling for us. There was no abuse in our relationship (either physical, emotional or verbal). I have cried out to Our Lord for His intervention in this matter. I need so much prayer…oh so much.
Please I ask with all that I am for many to pray and for many prayers on this matter. I was going to marry Chrissy. Thank you so much for your prayers.
Hi Dennis I pray for your healing. I totally can relate to your story. My boyfriend And I been living together for about 2 years. He also cheated on me when I found out my whole world crashed and I was devastated for along time even up to now. It’s really hard to accept the fact that the person you love the most would be the person that will cause you too much pain. I do forgive him because I know I am a better person inside and that I also pray that he would find his happiness with someone else. We got to the point to just stay as a friend and keep it that way. I always keep in mind that the lord has a better path for me.
Thank you!!!
Hi Dennis,
From what you said here this woman does not seem to love you nor care to have a life with you. It is better to find this out before marriage. You seems to be a very good man who desires a good and trustworthy woman. Pray and wait patiently for God to give you a good woman
who would truly appreciate and love you and God.
God bless you and take care.
Sue
