Dear Lord,
please have mercy on my brother and forgive him for the mistake he made as a kid. Grant him forgiveness and please lead the judge of his trial to give him a short sentence so that he may be home with our family where he belongs and grow closer to you in faith. He did not know the consequences of his actions as a child and is scared to leave as punishment. Please God, let him receive a short sentence and return home. Let him grow stronger in faith and believe that You will lead him out of this. He is scared. Please let the judge be understanding and empathetic. Let the judge see that he is good. My brother is a believer and a follower and is scared to be without my family and away from those he loves. God, please let this be in his past and let the court let him go. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen
