Help me, Lord. I know how much one should cherish loved ones. I fret over the things of this world at times. Having lost a couple of family members, I know how we should love and accept one another. Yet, I let little things like lack of appreciation or unpleasant words stop me in my tracks. I view it as something “I did” as opposed to insecurities of others. I have been told that I am “tender-hearted”. I know my heart is in the right place and I am God’s child. I just want to learn to maintain peace within when the storms of life arise and when others do not return kindness. In Your name, I pray.
