Please help my son get a good review on his first three months in medical school. He has worked so hard and has been under tremendous pressure. There are so many people who put others down to feel important. This has been constantly seen in the medical profession.
Rather than guide and teach, the expectation is that interns should already know how to do countless procedures. Belittling and berating rule the day. The hours are extremely grueling adding to stress and exhaustion. It’s hard to understand how this is a healthy way to train in a “caring” profession.
Please let him feel that his dedication and hard work are not in vain. Please help this smart and compassionate intern feel some success by hearing a positive review.
Thank you, Lord.
