Praise the Lord!
This prayer request is for my parents who are staying far from me and needs a support and care. My dad has problem with his right foot as its always numb and has vision problems. My mom cannot stand long as she suffers from lower back pain for a while and is low immune, because of which she fall sick quite frequently. They are 68 and 64 respectively and Im their single child, 35 years old, still unmarried, migrated to Canada 3 years ago. Im so much attached to my parents and we struggled a lot financially during my childhood and I could not achieve or grow or work as per their dreams. However, I wanted to provide the best for them and that is why I had to sacrifice everything and migrate inorder to open up a new world of happiness. There has been many embarrassing moments in our lives, when our relatives isolated us from our family, emotionally damaged my parents by mocking them about raising a useless child like me who is unsuccessful in life and we had gone through a lot in life, trials tribulations, ailments, financial setbacks, relationship issues, generational curses and so on. Im so confused now whether to go back and settle down with my parents who need me the most in their old age by leaving my dreams I nurtured so far or to go for the life I wanted hoping that the God who supported and been with me so far will continue taking care of my parents as he understands my heart and realises the pain I am going through now
My way is forked and I have to stick to a decision that never leave a room for regret . I want them to be happy and taken care of while chasing my dreams because I want them watch and enjoy me scaling height. But now I am not financially stable to buy a home or bring them and make all facilities to them. I already applied for a visit visa to both and still awaiting for the decision. The ailments they have is breaking me badly. Kindly pray for them and a breakthrough
