I pray for that wounded soldier that gave his heart to Christ and did what he thought was best even though it was one of the hardest decisions he had to make. I pray that the LORD will watch over him and make him bold and courageous and that he will not forget who his first love Jesus Christ is.
I pray that Jesus would be the first person he thinks about when he wakes up and the last when he lays his head down at night. I pray that he will have dreams and visions and that God himself will send angels to protect him and the troops all around him and that he will be safeguarded. I pray that the words of Christ will be written on his heart and that he will remember what the LORD said to him and the promises he made to him when he first gave his heart to Jesus.
I pray that he will forget the past mistakes and that he will concentrate on God’s perfect will for his life and that he will be full of hope and strength and mercy and love for his fellow soldiers and forgiveness toward the enemy. I pray that God will order his steps in his WORD and that he will follow the Shepherd Jesus wherever God might have him to go.
Thank you Jesus for dying for this soldier and all the soldiers and may your hand be upon them all and may they heal and get stronger to do your will on earth as it is in heaven.
