Lord, I come before you asking that you grant me a financial breakthrough to take care of my family – wife and the unborn child – and to establish a home with sufficiency for all who are part of the home.
Lord Jesus, I have been bounded for 20 years since I graduated to obtain employment. In my first employment as a teacher with the government Ministry of Education, all efforts to access the payroll and eventually seek for my salary arrears have been futile in all these years.
I went back for studies for a bachelor’s and then master’s degrees to increase my chances of job opportunities but every application I have ever written has never received a feedback. At 44 years, I have had no capacity to marry and establish and look after a home. Just in December last year (2014), I got in contact with a lady but have not formally married her.
Some time back, as I was for a master’s degree, I got some funds from some projects but did not manage the funds very well. I confess this sin to you now, including other sins I have committed, such as sexual sins and coveting, and generational and other relational sins that may be affecting me. And I repent.of all, dear Lord.
I pray and ask you to guide me in all my ways and to open the windows of heaven and pour me out a financial miracle so that I may be released from this financial bondage curse and regain the freedom that you promised me in Deuteronomy 28:12 which says “The Lord will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all of the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.”
Lord, let me be a lender and not a borrower according to your word. Lord, renew my mind, fill my heart with your love, and grant me your wisdom so that I may be a good steward over all that you give me and be a help to others and accomplish the tasks that my father has given me – to lease the pieces of land of the family, to construct family buildings, to take care of the family and its property. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!
