I am friends with the most selfless, compassionate, Godly woman I have ever met in my life. We have known each other for around 17 years when she came to babysit my youngest son Kyle when he was around 6 weeks old. We both lived in Texas until I relocated to Oklahoma, 7 years ago with my husband, eldest son Joel (then 13) and youngest son Kyle (then 10). Dayna has three grown children so between us, we have not been able to see each other very much although we talk regularly. On 28th December 2016 my eldest son Joel ( then 15 1/2 years old ) was found in my (now ex) husbands house, in his bedroom. He had gone to Heaven. Dayna and another friend drove 8 hours straight, as soon as they heard my tragic news, to Oklahoma and appeared at my door around midnight. They both stayed at least a couple of weeks and got me through the start of the worst days of my life.
Now my dear friend desperately needs help. She does not know I am posting this. She, herself, has experienced family tragedies over the last couple of years. Most recently, her 94 year old mother ( who she cared for, alone, in her house) went home to the Lord. She has many situations within her family that she is trying to manage, through prayers and very limited support. I feel so helpless not being able to be with her at this time. Dayna never asks for anything. She would give someone the shirt off her back if they needed it. When I asked if I could post a prayer request for her, she said yes. Her request was for prayers and support. I will go one step further and humbly ask if we could all pray for a financial blessing at this time. She could not afford to have a funeral for her Mom but her sister found a facility that would cremate her and send her back her ashes 😢 Which is what they have arranged. My friend is comforted knowing her mother is no longer in pain and is with Jesus. Her only sibling, James, succumbed to the Coronavirus last year. So, I would be so very humbled if you would pray for Dayna. For peace, for strength and a financial blessing if it is our Father’s Will. Thank you all for reading, God Bless you all 🙏💔🙏
