My amazing Dad was diagnosed with a rare neuroimmunology fatal disease called CJD yesterday after 5 weeks in hospital. He is one of the kindest, gentlest, charitable, loving and religious people I know. The last thing he did before his illness started to get bad before we knew he was sick though it is obvious now that he knew he was sick from things he said in the weeks before hand was to go to Knock to show his dedication to his faith, a pilgrimage he undertakes every year in May with his 2 sisters. I pray to God and all the saints that we will be granted a miracle and he will survive this illness. Please God let him participate in a clinical trial that will allow him to recover his full health or let him get mysteriously better on his own. If we could cure this disease with love alone he would live a long and healthy life. Please God look down upon us and put your healing hands upon your humble servant Donal and let him be with us again in full health.
