(Colorado Springs, CO)
Dear St. Joseph,
You answered my prayers once before when I asked you for help in selling a house, a house that I loved and was forced to leave due to an unwanted divorce. I was heartbroken, so many dreams having gone down the drain, and it was just too much to stay there, nor could I.
I’ve been looking for a new home, renting this one for the last 14 months. It’s time for me to settle down and start anew, a blank, white page. I found a home and put an offer down. It was rejected, I negotiated, it was verbally accepted, and now only one of the couple has signed the agreement, the other one playing roller coaster games. It’s almost too much to bear. I have a house, then I don’t. The house is empty; they are already moved out. I am a qualified buyer. I don’t know what the hesitancy is, but please help them to see that I am the person meant to have the house, meant to love it and make it a home. Please intercede your reasoning; unburden them of their angst and give them the strength to let go.
Please hear my prayer. Amen.
