~Further to my recent prayer requests where I told you I was disturbed by someone in this building rattling my door at 5 am, I just heard a thump downstairs at 3:30 am which reminded me of the night 2 months ago where I could overhear my Landlord’s loud voice talking to his partner (his girlfriend) and my name was mentioned and then a very loud thump 2 floors down like he did it on purpose. You see on reflection I don’t fully trust his explanation of why my door rattled at 5 am. My Landlord said he heard the rattle and someone cough (he must have been close by did he really hear the cough of someone stood listening outside my door at 2:30 am that morning I was woken up at 5 am) but he thinks it was the wind because of the tenant’s shower letting the wind through. Something isn’t right somewhere and I think that I will get disturbed in the same way by my flat door rattling again about 5 am because it was followed last time by footsteps walking away from my door and the rattling was too loud and nearby. My Landlord’s partner was vacuuming in the morning the next day so my guess is that the door rattling might happen again to wake me up about 5 am before she vacuums the carpet in the hallway outside my flat door about 9:30 am later the same morning. There’s something fishy going on and I need out and to be able to afford the flat deposit in York (UK) where I go to University p/t. This virus is a game changer for many people as you know making it hard to move from A to B safely. I hope God has got this because even though I respect others here someone doesn’t feel that way about me!
